About George Koveos

George Koveos has spent over a decade and a half as a C-Suite Executive with a focus on Brand Management, Sales and Inventory Strategy, Operations, and Logistics. Aside from direct-to-consumer (DTC) healthcare, brick-and-mortar retail, online shopping, and B2B sales, George’s expertise is on customer-centric technology. George prides himself on his leadership abilities and transparency when keeping the entire company staff aligned with the right goals. In addition to his hard quantitative skills, George is intuitively proficient in acting as a liaison between departments within an organization, validating his employees and reminding them why their role is crucial to the overall company success. Team accountability enforcement mixed with transparency is part of what puts George Koveos in such high demand.

Tufts University in Massachusetts was where George started his college career. Graduating Summa Cum Laude, he finished with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History and Political Science. During his study abroad semester in Rome, George Koveos attended the Libera Università Internazionale degli Studi Sociali, a private institution founded by a group of entrepreneurs.

George earned a Master of Science degree in International Relations from the London School of Economics. After graduating, George’s first job out of college was as a Management Analyst. He gained knowledge of McKinsey-based training techniques and production and personnel management best practices.

As the Operations Manager at McMaster-Carr in Robbinsville, New Jersey, George restructured department layouts and improved staff efficiency. His integrated product receipt monitoring and quality assurance metrics sped up internal processes and reduced errors. George honed his logistics and contact center skills, saving the company $500k a year after restructuring. His ability to work well with others made him the ideal go-between for many departments. The Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University awarded George an MBA in O&M and Global Economics while working for the company.

The Gilt Groupe in New York was the next stop for George. He was elevated to Senior Director of Operations after serving as Director of Operations & Customer Service. George served as Ralph Lauren’s Vice President of Digital Business Development and Operations for his next venture. He was in charge of Ralphlaren.com and their wholesale digital partners, in addition to launching a new North American vertical. With this move, Ralph Lauren was able to save millions of dollars by controlling the client experience.
